Ajax Community Tree & Wildflower Planting | Kinsmen Park

Join us, the Town of Ajax and the Ajax Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Program team for a morning of native tree and wildflower planting at Kinsmen Park! Participants the join will have the opportunity to take home some native wildflower seeds to save and add to their own gardens next spring.

High school students who participate will gain community service hours.

The event will run rain or shine but will be cancelled if there is extreme weather. Registrants will be emailed two hours prior to the event if there is a cancellation.

What to wear: Long pants, closed-toed shoes, tall socks, hat, and sunscreen.

What to bring: Rain protection, bug spray, reusable water bottle and snacks. Gardening gloves and water refills will be available on site.
